Animal Quarantine Reminder: Do Not Send Meat Products to Taiwan from Overseas

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, please check Taiwan’s animal quarantine rules before receiving gifts or ordering products from overseas.

Please ask your family and friends not to send meat products to Taiwan by international mail or courier. This includes mooncakes containing meat, dried meat, sausages, and other meat products. Please also check whether items purchased online contain animal products subject to quarantine.

Violations of Taiwan’s quarantine rules may result in substantial fines. For quarantine information and multilingual materials, please visit the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency’s information page:

請提醒海外親友，勿以國際郵包或快遞寄送含肉月餅、肉乾、香腸等肉製品來臺。境外網購時，也請留意商品是否含有應施檢疫的動物產品。
